Sophie is a fully qualified artist with experience in various fields of makeup such as fashion editorial and advertising, bridal, dance/theatre, body painting and makeup for special occasions.

She has worked with M.A.C Cosmetics on numerous runway shows and events including NZ Fashion Weeks (Key Makeup Artist - Designer Selection shows '07).

Sophie has a unique creative vision complemented by a natural flair and passion for the art of makeup and transforming a face. From a young age, she has been drawn to the face as a canvas. With a keen eye for perspective and the effect of light on the 3D form she is forever seeking new ways to enhance and highlight features.

Sophie has much experience in painting and illustration, which contributes to her understanding of texture and colour and while she is focused on makeup artistry, Sophie is also qualified in photography giving her insight into the makeup requirements for a photo shoot, whether it be for fashion, bridal or a special occasion.

Sophie keeps a close eye on what's current in makeup, including trends and the latest products, so you can be confident the result will be contemporary and fashionable.
